48 swimmers represent Royal at 2024 TSM Opener

48 swimmers represented Royal last weekend at the 2024 TSM opener. This was our first team competition with all groups competing. We are looking forward to our swim meet in October where we will all get together again!

 
Here are some highlights:
- 100% best times in at least 1 event by all swimmers
- Highest points scored by Eowyn Daines (111 pts) and Daniil Starychenko (145pts)
- Event winners: N.Bagri (200free), V. Kiselev (50 fly, 50 free, 100 free), M. Sampaio (100 fly), D. Starychenko (50 free, 200 IM, 100 free, 100 back)

COUPLE OF REMINDERS:
  •  Please sign up for ALL days of the swim meet. It is important for swimmers to swim the maximum amount of events to show improvements and keep track of things that need to be worked on.
  • Parents are prohibited from speaking to referees and admin. Please discuss issues with coaches first. We can be removed from the meet if further conflict occurs.
  • Please check the meet entry forms for every meet. Make sure to decline any events if you are not able to go. There is $250 penalty fee for NO SHOWS
  • Please communicate if you will be late or if unforeseen circumstances arise. 
  • LATE to meet = scratched out of meet (without prior communication)
