South Gate and Spooky Splash Meet Recap
These past 2 weekends we had 2 swim meets, the South Gate One day meet (10/19) and Spooky Splash this past weekend (10/25-26).
We had a lot of swimmers compete with strong performances!
Highlights from South Gate:
- 100% best times in at least 1 event
- 18 swimmers
- 376 points from boys (6th/12 teams)
- 169 points from girls (8th/12 teams)
- Highest point scorers- Arvin Farhang (59pts) and Vivienne Stolzman (60 pts)
- First time swimmer: Andrew Kazakov, and Miriam Chalfouh
- Event winners: Julian Tyszko (100BK, 50BK)
Highlights from Spooky Splash:
- 41 swimmers
- Team Records: Elise Kao (50 FLY), Nico Bagri (50 FLY)
- Event Winners: Julian Tyszko (50 BR), Nico Bagri (50 BR), Stella Tokuyama (50 BK)
- Biggest time drop: Sasha Bolton (-20.67 sec) 400 IM, Stella Tokuyama (-27.02 sec) 200IM
