Royal Races in 48 Finals Swim, 2 event wins, and 1 Team Record at 20225 Winter Age Group Champs
This weekend 27 Royal Swimmers competed in Winter Age Group Championships in Yucaipa from 12/12-14 Friday- Sunday.
This weekend we had a lot of fun races, best times, lots of final swims, and great learning experiences.

- Boys scored 551 points (11th/31 teams)
- Girls scored 300 points (15th/29 teams)
- Highest female points scored Jordyn Hale 120 points: A final in all her events (50/100 FR, 50/100BK, 50/100FLY)
- Highest male points scored Julian Tyszko 78 points: A final in (50/100 BR, 100 IM, 200 IM)
- Arvin Farhang's first WAG and swam a PB for 50 BACK (-0.51 sec just from last weekend)

Championship meets have morning preliminary swims and the top 20 swimmers will race again in the evening for finals. This type of swim meet style is common when you start to advance to bigger competitions. This is a great stepping stone leading into LA 2028!
