BCA Meet Recap
Royal competed in their first team competition 2 weekends ago at George Mannon Aquatics Center. This was the first swim meet since December and aas a great start to 2026. There were a lot of great swims, new experiences, and lessons to take away from this competition.
Big thanks to David Lowe (Addison Lowe) for setting up canopies the night before the meet.
And thank you, Banco and Sellers family, for taking them back to Culver Plunge.
Highlights:
- 46 swimmers
- 87% best times in at least 1 event
- Biggest time drop for girls: Mona Silva -12.67 seconds in the 100 FR, and Shira Yaghoubian
-6.15 sec in 50 BK
- Biggest time drop for boys: Arvin Farhang -26.44 seconds in 200 IM, and Julian Tyszko: - 8.01 seconds in 200 FR
- First timer swimmers: Darya Tsoy
