We are committed to providing a safe space for our athletes at all times.   We do this through applying our certifications earned through USA Swimming's Safe Sport program.  All coaches, board members, and officials in our program must complete this certification.  We take great pride in knowing that our athletes will feel safe at all times under our supervision.  Our goal is to nurture the athlete as a whole person, not just an athlete under our tutelage.

In making our intentions to ensure that your athlete is protected from abuse, we will be following our Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy.  That can be found here as well as posted separately on both our athlete and parent Safe Sport tabs.

Periodically, we will be placing information relevant to your place on our team under the appropriate tab, i.e. swimmer tab or parent tab.  We hope that you find this information helpful and encourage you to approach any coach if you should have any questions regarding the Safe Sport program.  We don't claim to have all the answers but will work diligently to get your questions answered for you.

If you have a concern, we ask that you allow us to address it.  If you don't feel comfortable talking with the Head Coach about your situation, please feel free to reach out to any of our Riptide Board members.

Should you feel that all your options have been exhausted and we have not dealt appropriately with any concerns that you have, please find the contact information for USA Swimming below:
