Dive Into Competitive Swimming with Watertown Area Swim Club (WASC)
Inspiring Swimmers for 60 Years
Have you just completed Level 2 swim lessons? Are you ready for a fun, flexible, and family-friendly way to take your swimming to the next level. The Watertown Area Swim Club may just be the place for your family!
Why Try Competitive Swimming?
- Health & Fitness: Build strength, coordination, and heart health.
- Confidence & Friendships: Kids gain self-esteem while forming lifelong friendships.
- Positive Coaching: Our experienced coaches focus on encouragement, effort, and fun.
- Life Skills: Teaches discipline, goal-setting, time management, and perseverance.
- Everybody swims. There is no bench in swimming and you do not get cut from the team.
What are the requirements before my child can join?
- Your child must be comfortable around water and have completed Level 2 Swim lessons.
- ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. Swim levels are based on ability and hitting milestones with their stroke development. While we like to get kids started young (even as early as 4), many kids have started between ages 10-12 and have had great success thoughout their High School careers!
