Cindy Baker Administrative Coach

Cindy Baker began her swimming career in 1985 when she was hired as a swim teacher, primarily teaching babies.  Over the year as the babies grew up, she found herself teaching competitive strokes and began looking for a competitive swim team.  In 1997 she met Coach Craig and together they formed Middle Tennessee Swim Club.  For three years she coached alongside Coach Craig in Hendersonville while waiting for the Jimmy Floyd Family Center (JFFC) to be built.  In late 2000, 30 competitive swimmers joined the JFFC and began their practice there.  In 2021 she became the Aquatics Manager, and facilitated the start of high school swimming in Wilson County.  Today the number of swimmers in Lebanon have more than doubled and two of her former swimmers and one of Craig’s, now share the coaching responsibilities at the JFFC.  Today, Cindy can be found in various pools teaching babies and young children.  She handles all administrative duties of MTSC.
