Head Coach Jeff Greenwood
I’m Coach Jeff. I was born and raised in Utah. I graduated from Spanish Fork High School in Spanish Fork Utah. While at Spanish Fork High School I played multiple sports. It was during this time that I developed a passion for coaching and knew that I wanted to get into coaching.
I started my swim coaching career at Orem Timpanogos Aquatics Club (OTAC) in Orem, Utah. While at OTAC, I coached multiple Utah State Age Group and Senior State Meet qualifiers and Age Group and Senior Western Zone Meet qualifiers. I was also a member of the Utah Swimming strategic planning committee. I left OTAC to coach at Swim Houston Aquatic Center in Houston, Texas. While at SHAC I coached multiple swimmers that got their zones and sectional cut times. After leaving SHAC I coach the 13 and Over Developmental Groups at Katy Aquatics Team in Katy Texas.
I’m an American Swimming Coaches Association Level 5 Education Certified Coach.
I have a personal saying in life. It is “every day in every way I’m getting better and better.” As a coach my goal is to help my athletes to be better than they were the day before. The individual’s improvement is my primary objective. My emphasis is on competition with oneself. It is also to help my athletes realize that the best moments in our lives are built around achieving every day, and long-lasting, excellence.
My hobbies and interests are water activities, golfing, hiking, camping, fly fishing, snowboarding and more than anything spending time with my wife Stephanie and two children Jackson and Mary.
