“Don’t count the days, make the days count.” –Muhammad Ali
Raellen joined the Tennessee Aquatics Board of Directors in 2017. Her daughters, Maggie and Kate, are current swimmers on Tennessee Aquatics. Growing up, Raellen swam for Pilot Aquatic Club (which is now Tennessee Aquatics) and she’s enjoyed being a part of the swimming community from a parent perspective. She is a member of the board because she wants this club to be successful and grow, as well as provide an environment for swimmers at every level. Swimming was a huge part of Raellen’s life, and she loves to be a part of this growing program. Raellen is originally from Sevierville, Tennessee where she swam for Pilot Aquatic Club. Raellen graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she swam as a Lady Vol. In her spare time, Raellen enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, and their girls, Maggie and Kate. They love spending time on the lake, traveling, and exploring. Raellen also volunteers a lot of her time at her daughters’ school and her neighborhood summer league swim team

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” -Winston Churchill
Chris joined the Board of Directors in 2019. While Chris was born in Nashville, he grew up in Knoxville. Growing up, Chris swam for Pilot Aquatic Club (now Tennessee Aquatics), Farragut High School, and Village Green Gators. Chris is now a member of the Tennessee Aquatics Masters Swim Team. His family’s swimming history has spanned around sixty years in the Knoxville area. Chris’ father and uncles swam for Knoxville Swim Association – an early club team with ties to Tennessee Aquatics.
Chris believes swimming teaches skills that last a lifetime. His goal as a board member is to foster a community of growth for the athletes and coaches by serving as the premier swimming program in the region. Chris believes Tennessee Aquatics is strong and the program could not operate without the support of the parents who volunteer at swim meets and team events. He is honored to be a part of this organization and will hopefully have a hand in continuing the strong legacy of success.
While Chris did not swim in college, he graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in finance. Professionally, Chris is a Relationship Manager with UBS where he helps clients navigate the complex needs of multi-generational wealth. His team specializes in wealth management, personal trust and estate planning, as well as succession planning for family-owned businesses. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Riley, and his stepson Rex. As a family, they enjoy activities such as watching Rex compete in various sporting events, going to the beach and lake, or traveling to new places. Aside from Tennessee Aquatics, Chris volunteers his time with various other organizations such as Leadership Knoxville, Rotary Club of Knoxville, and The University of Alabama National Alumni Association.
