ENSWORTH SPOOKY IM CHALLENGE

 

The IMX Challenge meet was our second meet of the season. This meet had longer events. Swimmers earned IMX ( Individual Medley Extreme) points towards badges and other achievements in their USA Swimming portal. This meet provided the opportunity to show how tough our kiddos are!

FIRST PLACE FINISHES: 

 

Nash Stanlick: 200 free, 500 free

Mason Burton: 200 fly 

Madden Russell: 100 breast

Nash Stanlick: 1st 200 free, 1st 500 free, 2nd 200 back

 

Mason Burton: 1st 200 fly, 2nd 500 free, 4th 400 IM

 

Madden Russell: 2nd 100 breast, 2nd 500 free, 3rd 200 free, 3rd 100 back

TULLAHOMA GREAT PUMPKIN MEET 

 

STAC showed up and showed OUT in Tullahoma. We had lots of first-time swimmers participating, and we had a blast. 1st-8th place received ribbons for their achievements. In true STAC fashion, several swimmers won first place in their first-ever competition. We are so proud of all of our little ones who raced their hearts out! 

During the ribbon distribution, Mr. Connor McCrary was interviewed about his victory. In front of all the big kids, he eloquently and proudly walked us through his pre and post-race mentality. It was one of the cutest things ever! 

 

FIRST PLACE FINISHES: 

 

Nash Stanlick, aka da boss: first place in every event he swam, 200 free, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 back, 100 free 

 

Isaac Barritt aka big fella: first place in every event he swam, 200 free, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 back, 100 free 

 

Tess Sampson aka the honeybadger: 1st 200 breast, 1st 500 free, 1st 100 IM, 1st 50 back, 1st 50 breast

 

Ivy Sampson (who was sick for a week following her NOLA trip and showed up dry with no practice for a week): 1st 200 breast, 1st 500 free, 1st 100 back

 

Taylor Gingrow aka TayTay: 1st 500 free 

 

Connor McCrary aka the future: 1st 25 free, with an impressive time of 18.11, in his first EVER race

 

JuJu Pruitt: 1st place 50 free in her FIRST MEET ever

 

Covie Stanlick aka covaliscious (in true Stanlick fashion, after a short hiatus from swimming to pursue her championship horseback riding career) 1st 50 fly 

 

Madden Russell aka the darkhorse (ya’ll better watch out): 1st 100 breast

Goal sheets need to be turned in ASAP. Please print them and have swimmers bring them to the next practice they attend. Coach Gareth has been charging interest on late turn-ins payable with pushups as currency with an increasing rate of 10% daily.
