The Brownsville Aquatics offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Brownsville Aquatics to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Beginners I Group: Coach Jocsan (Lane 1-2) This lane is designed for young swimmers moving from learn to swim. Emphasis is on developing freestyle, backstroke. Minimum requirement is to swim 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke. We require 5 practice sessions and recommend. Beginners II Group: Coach Ivanna (Lane 3-4) This lane is designed for young swimmers moving from learn to swim. Emphasis is on developing freestyle, backstroke, basic breaststroke and learning basic dolphin kick. Minimum requirement is to swim 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke kick on back. We require 5 practice sessions an. Workout Days/Times: Monday thru Thursday two session group A - 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM group B – 6:45 to 7:30 PM. Friday 6:00 to 7:00 PM All groups. Intermediate I Group: Coach Pedro (Lane 5-6) This group is suitable for young swimmers able to swim 50 yd of freestyle, 50 yd backstroke, 25 yd breaststroke and 25 yd butterfly. Emphasis is on improving stroke technique. Competition skills are also taught. We require 5 practice sessions from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Intermediate II Group: Coach Ryan Shea (Lane 7) The group caters for swimmers who can swim each of the four strokes. Emphasis is on advanced stroke correction. This is a competitive group. Competition skills are also taught. We require 5 practice sessions from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Skills: Freestyle 100 yd. Intermediate II Group Coach: Ryan Shea Workout Days/Times: Schedule for Sept.-May is Monday thru Thursday 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Elite Group Coach Ryan Shea (Lane 12-13) This group caters for swimmers who can swim each stroke. Emphasis is on advanced stroke correction and improving competitive skills.
