2/1: no class today.  We will see you next week.

We welcomed our new student Nora today.  Then we worked on Language arts and Math skills.  Then we learned how to measure our wrists, and make beaded, stretch bracelets.

12/14Today we read a little more of The Autobiography of Santa Claus. The students are learning how to paint rocks and create a color palette. They will learn how to wrap presents in the spirit of the Christmas Holiday.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with such smart and talented students. Each student brings their own unique talents to the classroom. It has been wonderful to see them build their skills and share their talents with each other. I am looking forward to seeing them in January. I wish you a Merry Christmas and bountiful New Year!

12/7

Continuing with Babar and talking about goal setting and how if feels to not achieve vs achieving.

We made blueberry cobbler (to continue the theme of Miss Rumphius- since we had so many out last Thursday.)

And we created posters for a made up event- some used our event Friday night for their inspiration.

We reviewed on the map the locations of Paris, England, and Spain and how the architecture is similar and different.

We studied the mother of Pearl and painted shells again.  (Another recap from Miss Rumphius)

In music we listened to classical music and learned how to play chopsticks on the piano.
