Good Job today girls, I can tell you all worked super hard :)

Don’t forget to work on: firebirds, rolls, and pirouettes!

This week we worked on Moon river (Ballet piece) and Queen of mean (Jazz piece) next week we will start Dances for jungle book.

I will be posting Two videos: I will post the video of the Moon River dance and also a video of a simple Ballet warmup for you to do at home (If you need a Barre chairs are a wonderful Barre)

Great Job today, girls! Everything looked beautiful and the costumes are gorgeous on you all.

For the coffee Jam, please wear a black or white leotard/ tank top, and white or pink tights! We will preform your Ballet dance in June. It is already looking great! There are a few corrections we will go over next week, just to clean up a bit.

We will work more on queen of mean, Moon River, and possibly add some dances for jungle book :)

2/21: keep practicing your dance! We will not be performing at this Coffee JAM to give us more time to prepare for the next one. We will be adding some dances from Jungle Book to what we are learning.

1/21: CLOSED MONDAY - I am so sorry, but I do not know if I will be able to make it in Monday. I am going to try around 2:00, but since I just can’t make any promises, we will meet on FRIDAY for class. I hope that you all can make it, but if you can’t, I will upload a video of some things you can work on until we are together the following Monday.

FRIDAY: we will start with dance at 4:15. Theatre at 5:00 and Vocal Tech at 6:00. I will be filling in for Mr Drew for Vocal Tech.

Stay safe out there! At least we are getting warmer this week... wet, but warm...er!

1/18: In class we are working on some Ballet steps. Work on skipping with your toes pointed, and chené turns. In the video posted on Monday, we learned some strengthening exercises for our feet, and went over the Ballet variation of a pas da bourè (Pa- Da- Bor- A) I hope to see all of you Monday! Don’t freeze out there :)

1/15 : we are working uploading your dance video,it’s taking a long time. I apologize. Hope you all are staying warm.

We finished our Jingle Bells dance! Please keep practicing.

We also worked on Balance’, Skipping and no elephant feet.

Their costume will be coats and capes over some Victorian period clothes. They just need tights and Jazz Shoes

MISS MILLY AND MISS LIBBY ARE SICK AND CANNOT TEACH TONIGHT , NOVEMBER 6TH

I did not get your dance uploaded to videos, but y’all are doing great.

Call time is 5:30 on Sunday! Parents will be allowed to enter at 5:45 and show starts at 6pm. Wear all black. We don’t know the order yet. See you all soon! And wear socks! We will tap! Great Job, Girls! We worked very hard this week.

Keep working on: Firebirds, rolls, and pirouettes. Next week we will start choreography for jungle book! I will post a video of the ballet dance, I will also be posting a ballet warmup for you to practice at home, I will see you next week.
