5/2 Tuesday April 30,2024 Miss Ann’s Class We are reading Skylark a sequel to Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan. The setting of this series is in the Prairie. We had a busy day making kites. Kites are a wonderful spring activity that children can enjoy even in the Prairie.

3/19: It's been a whirlwind. I can see this page hasn't been updated in a while, but we are learning. We're still reading "Sarah Plain and Tall" and learning all about planting and the growth of a seed to a sprout. Today we made a butterfly, created a flower portate, studied the cycle of a flower and had some practice in Math with subrtacting. Oh and we each made up a fun little story!

1/30 today we read chapter 3 in Sarah Plain and Tall. We learned about the three types of rocks and how they are formed. Then we finished our bead bracelets or made new ones.

1/15 This class will not be meeting online or in person on Tuesday. See you next week

Today we read a little more of The Autobiography of Santa Claus. The students are learning how to paint rocks and create a color palette. They will learn how to wrap presents in the spirit of the Christmas Holiday.
