The Barcelona 2013 Championships will feature the greatest international athletes from the up-and-coming stars like Missy Franklin and Katie Ledecky to veterans that have already participated at the first FINA World Championships in Barcelona ten years ago, such as Natalie Coughlin, Kosuke Kitajima and Katinka Hosszu. FISU, the governing body of international university sport, will launch Live Streaming programme at the upcoming 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan (July 6th to 17th) at www.livefisu.tv. 2013 CCCAN Championships Underway in Costa Rica SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA--The 2013 CCCAN Championships begins today and continues through Sunday (July 1-7) in San José. The championships feature competition in all 5 Aquatics disciplines; the Swimming portion is today through Friday (July 1-5). A few weeks before the FINA World Championships, 33 year old Thomas Lurz contemplated the events he would swim in Barcelona and pondered over the goals he would set for himself.
