Ramsamy elected as new head of African Swimming By Duncan Mackay September 17 - South Africa's Sam Ramsamy has been elected as the new President of the Confederation of African Swimming (CANA), succeeding Algeria's Mustapha Larfaoui, who had stepped down after holding the position since the creation of the organisation in 1972. Barcelona ramps up promotion of 2013 World Aquatics Championships An awareness campaign for the 2013 World Aquatics Championships has begun in Barcelona. Promotional materials have been put up across the city, including in Montju?c Park near to where the event will take place, as part of an initiative which will last until September 30.
