The International Olympic Committee has begun retesting frozen urine samples from the 2006 Turin Olympics using an improved steroid testing method – and has come up with hundreds of new positive tests, according to a report by German television station ARD. The Pan American Sports Festival was approved by PASO and is scheduled to take place from September 20-23, 2014. A venue for the aquatics events has not been designated yet. It could be Guadalajara, Mexico City or Veracruz. PASO will pay for 7 days of food, travel and lodging expenses for athletes, officials and coaches.
