Michael King- Head Coach/Senior Group
Michael has been coaching for the last 16 years. He began his coaching career with Hilltop Aquatics within their summer and age group program. He spent a year with Wasatch Front Fish Market, helping them win their first Age Group State Championship in 2012-2013. He swam at Brigham Young University for 4 years and was All-Conference in the 100 and 200 yard Breaststroke events, finishing in the top 10 in school history in the 100 yard breaststroke. He served as Team Captain his senior year and helped his squad win 3 straight Conference Championships.
Upon leaving BYU, Michael became the Head Coach at Lehi Aquatics and helped grow the program from 65 swimmers to over 160. He helped Lehi Aquatics become one of the top programs in Utah and has coached a swimmer to a National Ranking every year he has been here. He is currently an ASCA level 3 (out of 5) coach. He has coached swimmers to all levels of swimming, including the USA Olympic Trials, USA Nationals, Club and High School State Champions. In 2022, he helped Lehi Aquatics have their first Junior National and US Open Qualifier.
