RACE SWAMI hires new coach

We are happy to announce the hiring of new "Monday Coach!!" Mattie Mulick, to the SWAMI coaching staff. Mattie's inaugural day of coaching begins October 24th at 4:30pm at the Steiner West facility. She'll be coaching Junior and Senior Swami groups this fall.

 

So too, SWAMI will be back to the old schedule with Monday as a day of training for both groups at Steiner West, and Wednesday as a day of rest for Jr. Swamis (Sr. Swamis will still be practicing on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm). All other days of training will remain the same.

 

We are very excited and privileged to have Mattie on board our coaching staff. Besides taking over the Monday training sessions, she will fill in as needed. Mattie has years of competitive experience in USA swimming, cross country and track. She ran track at Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. Mattie's coaching experience includes head coach for Judge Memorial Cross Country for three years, as well as serving as an assistant coach for Judge Memorial Swimming alongside fellow SWAMI coach Matt Finnigan.

 

Mattie currently serves as Dean of Students at Judge Memorial. Being a very busy person, we are fortunate and thrilled that she has made the commitment to be a part of Race Swami.
