Neighborhood House
Race Swami collaborates with the Neighborhood House to provide a summer school swim program, twice per week in 35 minute sessions in the water (2-3 sessions total). The daycare center provides transportation to and from the pool. Race Swami provides the 35 minute swim lesson for children ages 6 and up, teaching them basic water safety skills and beginning-level, fundamental swimming skills. This program is a summer program and Race Swami has already served many children from the Neighborhood House, some of whom have moved on to Rising Swami I classes when the swim instructors have deemed them ready for the next level.
