Northwest RiverFest: June 2nd

Race Swami will be appearing at Northwest RiverFest 2012

ROSE PARK — For the second consecutive year, the green and gold fleur of RACE SWAMI will be present on the marshy banks of breathtaking Jordan River at the Northwest Recreation Center in Rose Park. Yes, it's the much-ballyhooed RiverFest, set for Saturday, June 2nd from 11am to 6pm. It's an epic community event that's perfect for the whole family.

The Fun Run will kick the festivities off at 10:30am. The run will be followed by live music, plenty of food vendors, items for sale, booths to fit your fancy, a plethora of kids activities, and much more!

RACE SWAMI will have a booth present throughout the day with coaches, swimmers and parents all present to meet and greet and hand out information about this fledging young club. Blessedly, those awesome and soon-to-be legendary RACE SWAMI tee shirts will be on hand for sale if you arrive early enough. The proceeds will go directly to the Race Swami scholarship fund. 

According to Race Swami swimmer Jason Motley, this is a can't miss event. "I personally have been losing sleep over the excruciating well of excitement that I am experiencing at this time," Jason said. "This is an event not be missed. You have not lived until you have gone to this event, though as an aside comment it should be noted that I personally have yet to attend said event."
