RACE SWAMI to Host Summer Cultural Celebration

ROSE PARK — Race Swami will be hosting a Summer Cultural Celebration for it's swimming community, which includes invitations extended to the SWAMI ahtletes, parents, coaches, families, donors, and business partners. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 29th at 12:30pm following the conclusion of a team-wide practice set 11am to noon at the Northwest recreation Center. The Cultural Celebration will be held at Rose Park's Constituition Park located next to the Northwest Rec facility, one of two facilities used by Race Swami.

Invitees are encouraged to bring any dish from their cultural heritage to share with the SWAMI Family. In the two and half years of its history, Race Swami has become known for it's cultural diversity, claiming members from many Latin American nations, South America, the Polynesian islands of the South Pacific, Asia, among many others.

The celebration is scheduled for 12:30-2:00pm and will include some festivities from the swimmers and their coaches. So too, the much-coveted SWAMI shirts will be available for purchase for $15.
