SWAMIs Bring the Fireworks to the WFFM RWB Meet

MAGNA UT --  It was another notweworthy meet this past weekend at the outdoor Magna Pool as an admirable number of Swamis represented the storied Green and Gold in the first-ever WFFM Red White & Black Fish Bowl Summer Classic.

SWAMi NATION brought the fun factor as fifteen swimmers (and a plethora of Swami-Gear-Clad parents, siblings, and casual Swami fans who came to cheer) raced for all the marbles in what amounted to two days of competition over the 4th of July Weekend.

The 15 Swamis competed in more than 60 races with a number of Swamis finishing in the Top 10 in many of them, ranging in ages from 8 to 18. There were many personal best times turned in, and for some---this was their first meet ever for Race Swami. SWAMi also competed in some of their very first relays ever for the club as many Rising Swami 2's were granted the opportunity to swim in one of the three 200 medley relays on Saturday. Suffice is to say they had a blast!

"It was so cool, because before this meet the only relays I ever swam in was in swim practice with Coach David," nine year old Lorena Thompson reasoned. "I can't wait to swim in another one!"
