What ages are accepted at GCX?

Ages 3-17 are accepted here at GCX.

3-year-olds are only eligible for class participation

4 year olds turning 5 by Sept 30 are eligible for the Tiny competition team

What are the monthly fees?

Monthly fees are determined by the program your athlete is registered for.

Tumbling program fees range from $69 to $99

Allstar Tuition fees range from $90 to $150

Fees are due on the 1st of every month.

What does monthly All-Star tuition cover?

Athlete’s participation and training only. Does not include cheer gear, or competition fees.

Do you have drop in classes?

Yes! You may register as a drop in for classes via our website. Drop in fees are $25 for non GCX Members. $20 for Tumbling package members, $15 for Allstar athletes

When do practices begin?

The week of June 12th

How often do teams practice?
-
Depending on the team your athlete makes, your athlete will practice 1 to 3 days a week.

How long are practice hours?

Between 1 and 2.5 hours long.

Do GCX teams compete in competitions?

Yes. All GCX competitive teams compete at competitions.

Do GCX competitive teams travel?

Yes! Some of our teams compete locally. While the remaining teams may travel a little further.

Who is responsible for travel costs?

Parents are responsible for travel and lodging costs when traveling for competitions.

Does GCX cheer for a sports team?

No. GCX is a competition cheerleading team only.

Do athletes have to try out?

Yes. Athletes age 6+ are required to tryout for proper team placement. EVERYONE MAKES A TEAM :)

How long is the season?

GCX All-Star season is a 9-11 month commitment, which is determined by team placement after tryouts.

Are practices and classes the same?
-
No they are not
-
Practice is team focused, preparing them for the competition season. Athletes do NOT learn new skills during practice. New skills are only acquired by taking classes.

Classes are individual focused. Working on the athlete's goals and progression in skills.

How much is the uniform?

Cheer gear prices vary from $600 to $850.
-
These prices include uniforms, warm-ups, shoes, bags, accessories, etc.

Your athlete’s final cost will be determined by the team they make.

Does GCX offer private lessons?

Yes! We offer Privates and semi private lessons

Does GCX fundraise?
-
Yes! GCX participates in various fundraisers to help reduce the price of out-of-pocket costs for our All-Star parents.

Does GCX do gymnastics?

No. GCX is not a gymnastics gym.
