Erica Bisaillon - Head Coach

Erica Bisaillon is a USA Swimming Certified Coach, and holds a Level 1 American Swim Coach’s Association certification. She is also the Head Coach of the Rockbridge County High School and Parry McCluer Swim Teams. A Rockbridge County native, Erica grew up swimming for Rockbridge Storm. Graduating from RCHS in 2017, she attended Middlebury College in Vermont and played water polo. Erica was a member of the 2019 D3 National Collegiate Club Championship Team. Erica began her coaching journey in 2014, serving as a swim lesson instructor and Rockbridge Storm assistant coach until her departure in 2018. She continued to coach summer storm until her return from Vermont in 2021. She specializes in Butterfly and Backstroke. Her coaching mentality focuses on in all aspects, both in and out of the pool.

 

 

 

 

Cate Hofley - Assistant Coach

Cate is originally from Birmingham, Michigan. She grew up swimming for the Birmingham Blue Dolphins as well has her    high school and summer league teams. Cate has been coaching with STORM for two years. When not on the pool deck Cate attends W&L where she studies engineering.  Cate started coaching for a club in her summer league when she was 16. There she developed a passion for coaching  and has loved inspiring young swimmers to work hard in and out of the pool.  Cate has coached swimmers from age 3 to 18 and loves working on IM skills. As a swimmer she excelled in 500 Free  and 200/400 IM. This has led to her expertise in these areas. Cate is excited to have another fun and successful season with the STORM team! 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Anna Ruth Morrison - Assistant Coach

Anna Ruth is from Concord, NC and grew up swimming for her summer league swim team before swimming for her middle and high school teams at Cannon School. She also swam year round at the Sportscenter Athletic Club. It is Anna Ruth’s second year coaching the STORM swim team. Anna Ruth is a junior at W&L studying Cognitive and Behavioral Science and Chinese language. Anna Ruth started coaching swim team when she was 15, and has grown to love coaching more and more ever since. Before this season, she specialized in coaching younger swimmers, but has found a love for coaching the older swimmers as well. When she was swimming competitively, she excelled at the 100 breaststroke and 50 freestyle. Anna Ruth is excited for this season and can’t wait to see the swimmers improve.
 
 
 
 
 

Leslie Ayers - Aquatics Director

Leslie Ayers is a USA swimming certified coach, she holds a level 4 American Swim Coach Association certification, former Total Immersion Coach, and the head coach for the Rockbridge County High School swim team. In 2005 she spearheaded the fundraising and building of what is now the Rockbridge Aquatics Center. Under her management the Aquatic Center offers swim teams, summer camps, lifeguard certification, and opportunities for swimmers of all ages to participate in water fitness. She has created and implemented an impressive swim lesson curriculum that has helped thousands of children in Rockbridge County become water safe.
