Community support has allowed Friends of Rockbridge Swimming, Inc. to improve our facility in so many ways. Over the last few years we have completed many improvements thanks to the generous donations of our members. If you have been part of our swim community since the Bubble Pool’s inception, 18 years ago, you know just how far we have come! Thank you for the help you have given along the way.

Our goal is not only to maintain this wonderful community asset but to also make meaningful improvements and enhancements that make a better and safer aquatic facility for our swim community. This year our focus continues to be to reduce our energy consumption with the following improvements: 

• Energy efficient heat pumps: Our focus continues to be to reduce our energy consumption and operating costs by taking advantage of advances in electric heat pump technology which will allow us to use heat pumps which can be coupled with solar panels instead of natural gas boilers to generate the hot water required to heat our facility.
• New insulated pool covers that retain the water temperature during the night. 
• Replacement windows for our bathrooms to avoid air leakage and improve ease of operation.
