Aquacise – Free for members, $10 for non-member drop in. These complete aerobic exercise classes, accompanied by music, use equipment to tone and sculpt the body. Aquacise is a non-impact exercise that improves strength, flexibility and endurance. Participants of all ages, swimmers and non-swimmers alike, can take part in this type of exercise. All classes can be modified for special needs or to personalize the intensity level.

We offer Aquacise classes Monday-Saturday. Our typical weekly schedule is as follows: 

Monday: 8:30 & 10:30 AM, taught by Leslie

Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00 am taught by Lenny 

Wednesday: 8:30 & 10:30 AM, taught by Etta 

Friday: 8:30 & 10:30 AM, taught by Mel or Natalie 

Saturday: 10:00 am taught by Lenny

Etta is an experienced aqua aerobics instructor with 19 years of teaching experience. She taught when the pool first opened and came back to us in 2016! She has a degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and certifications through the Aquatic Exercise Association, American College of Sports Medicine, CHEK Institute, YMCA, Healthy Moms, and WaterART. She is currently working on her Aqua Yoga instructor certification. Etta's says she loves to "push [her] participants beyond what they think they are capable of regardless of age or physical limitations." and she believes that water provides the perfect environment for that goal. 

Etta teaches two classes:

8:30 AM - Aqua Interval Mix - a mid to high intensity class that incorporates an overall body workout with a variety of cardio, core, stretching and strength training intervals. Both shallow and deep water suspension moves may be incorporated. 

10:30 AM - Gentle Water Fit - A shallow water, low impact class designed to improve strength, increase joint flexibility and range of motion while building cardiovascular endurance. A great class to enhance mobility for performing daily activities. 

Mel is one of our newer instructors. She teaches some Fridays at both 8:30 and 10:40 am. Mel’s Aquacise class is a high energy, medium to high intensity workout with a touch of dance and a lot of fun.
