How does our fundraiser work?
Our fundraiser is similar to ones used by swim teams all over the United States to raise money for their respective team. To raise money, swimmers receive pledges and donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.
We'll play some games
And give some treats
And swim til' you've
Got wrinkled feet.
So come on over
If you dare
It's Spooky Swim
You'd best beware!
WHEN: Friday, October 20th, 6pm-10pm
WHERE: The Phoenix Nest (our pool)
WHO: All VSTP swimmers are welcome, we'll have activities for every age.
FOOD and GAMES: Throughout the evening we'll provide lots of food for our amazing swimmers. We'll also have games and competitions like pumpkin carving contests, ghost pin bowling, donut eating contests and Halloween movies.
SAFETY: Weather permitting, we plan on having food and games outside (so send your swimmer with warm layers).
PRIZES: We've got some truly fabulous prizes for the TOP FIVE fundraising swimmers!
HOW: Talk to your neighbors, teachers, church friends, relatives, the town mayor, your dentist, and even your Crazy Aunt Sue out in Missouri. Tell them how much you love your swim team and how this fundraiser helps us keep going!
