USA Swimming Registration Info

USA Swimming Registration Info USA swimming requires that all athletes have a valid and up to date membership to compete in any USA Swimming sanctioned meets.  Returning athletes do not currently need to worry about their USA swimming membership as long as they registered last year.  All USA Swimming memberships are good for a calendar year period.  Memberships processed on or after September 1 will be valid through December of the following year.  It is important to note that you only need to register with USA Swimming if you wish to participate in swim meets.  There is no need to register if you are not planning on participating in meets this season.   How to Register through USA Swimming: Follow the steps in the PDF I am attaching HERE. I have heard that it is tougher and more inconsistent from the phones. This system can definitely be very confusing.  Please email me if you have any questions about the USA Swimming registration process.   Please take note of the 2 membership options. - The Premium membership is good for the rest of 2024 and all of 2025 and is best for athletes that plan on attending all or most of the meets. The price a one time fee of $90 - The Flex membership is for 12 and under simmers only and is good for 2 USA Swim meets this winter. This membership has one time fee of $40 and It can be upgraded later on to the premium membership for no extra cost. This is a good option for families that may only want to do a few of the local meets or for new families that want to try a couple of swim meets before upgrading to the premium membership later on.
