Meet Registration & USA Swimming Membership

Registering for a meet is simple once you’re familiar with TeamUnify. Follow the steps below, and feel free to reach out if you need help. Each athlete will also need a valid USA Swimming membership before they are allowed to compete.

Before You Begin

  • The meet invitation/announcement is attached with full meet details.

  • Warm-up times, timelines, and heat sheets will be shared the week before the meet (after entries are submitted and the event is seeded).

Step 1: Sign In to TeamUnify

  1. Go to fluvannaswimming.org

  2. Click “Sign In” in the top-right corner.

    • New families will need to create an account.

    • If you have trouble creating one, email us for assistance.

Step 2: Commit to a Meet

Once you’re signed in:

  1. Navigate to the Events/Meets tab on fluvannaswimming.org.

  2. Select the meet you want to attend.

  3. Click “Edit Commitment.”

  4. Select your swimmer’s name.

  5. Under Declaration, choose:
    “Yes, please sign (swimmer’s name) up for this event.”

  6. Review the list of eligible events

    • Best times will auto-populate.

    • Check the box next to each event you’d like your swimmer to enter.

    • The events will be laid out in the order that they will be competed in and will be seperated by day as well.

  7. Click “Save Changes.”

  8. Repeat for additional swimmers if needed.

You’ll see Coach Approval = Pending until staff review the entries.

Meet Fees:
Each Meet has a fee set by the host team to help cover facility and other meet costs. These fees will be billed to you after entries are finalized.

USA Swimming Membership

All swimmers must have an active USA Swimming membership to compete in any USA-sanctioned meet.

If you’re new and need to register for the first time:

  • Follow the steps in the attached PDF HERE.

  • The Online Membership Registration (OMR) Link that the PDF refers to is HERE.

If you're a returning family, you should be able to log into your USA Swimming account and purchase the membership from your dashboard.

Tip: Use a desktop or laptop for USA Swim registration, some users report issues when registering on a phone.
