Head Coach Ramzi Ramzi Chihab is returning for his third year at Somerset Recreation Club to begin his first year as head coach. He is currently studying biochemistry on a pre-med track in the Honors College at Washington State University. Ramzi swam at Newport High School for four years, achieving both Kingco and districts times. He also played water polo for Newport High School and placed 2nd in state junior year along with being a senior captain. Beyond coaching, he has lifeguarded at Somerset Recreation Club for the past four years and likes to play video games, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with friends. Go stingrays! |

Coach Sean Sean Broadwell is excited to join the Somerset coaching staff for his first year as a swim coach! Sean is currently studying Informatics with a concentration in Data Science at the University of Washington. As a longtime member of Somerset Rec Club, he swam with the team for 9 years and currently holds 4 club records—part of the 12 records he’s broken over the years. He swam competitively as a varsity athlete for Newport High School, earning a spot on the district and state roster all four years and achieving multiple top finishes at the District and State Championships. He’s worked as a group swim instructor at the Bellevue Club for a year and as a lifeguard for almost two. In his free time, he enjoys watching YouTube, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing video games. Go Stingrays! |

Coach Iris Hi my name is Iris Feng and I’m so excited to be coaching at Somerset this summer! I am currently a senior at Newport High School where I was a varsity swimmer who swam at state for all 4 years, and was also a captain this year. I’ve been swimming for almost 10 years now, on clubs including Chinook, Olympic Cascade Aquatics, and Newport Hills Sharks. Other than swimming, I love travelling, hanging out with friends and family, paddleboarding, and baking. I am so excited to be joining the Stingray Family!

Coach Shawn Shawn Le is a new coach for Somerset Swim Team. He has recently graduated from Liberty High School and is Committed to UC San Diego to study Math and Economics. In addition to being a Varsity Swim Captain, Shawn has been swimming competitively for over six years on teams such as IST, OCA, and Somerset Swim Team. In his free time, he likes yo-yoing, playing basketball, and spending time with friends. Shawn has been a part of Somerset Rec Club for five years and is very excited for this upcoming season.
