Great meet WAVE! It was fun to see so many swimmers (70) from our team racing at this meet.
Overall results for the 12 and Under Pentathlon are listed below. Overall results were figured by adding the times of all five events for each swimmer. The swimmers with the lowest time totals finished the highest. Any swimmer DQ’d or missing an event did not receive a final overall place in the pentathlon.

  • The events were all 13 & Over so no age groups, 13 year olds competed against 17 year olds
  • The top 24 from each event came back for finals each night
  • Only the Top 16 scored points for the team

Other notes from the meet:
  • Wave finished 2nd overall as a team out of 30 teams present at the meet.
  • Emily Anthony had a terrific 50 free time in a swim off, I don’t have the results from that yet
  • Kaiya Knight made her 12 year old sectional time in the 50 free
  • We had multiple people make PNS qualifying times which is good going into the summer season; the PNS LC Championship Meet (July 29- August 1) will be the meet we will want everyone to put on their calendar and circle.
