Swim Team Tryout

 
This is a tryout for non-members who would like to join the team.

We will start at 10:00am at the Juanita Aquatic Center. Tryouts do not take long, and are a chance for the coaches to see if prospective swimmers are ready for swim team, and if so, which group would be the best fit for them.

Admittance into groups is as follows:

8 & Under Group: 8 years or younger, can swim 1 length of freestyle and backstroke

Bronze Group: 9 or 10 years of age, can swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke legally

Silver I Group: 11-13 years of age, can swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke legally

Silver II Group: 10-12 years of age, can legally complete a 100 IM in less than 1:40

Gold Group: 11-13 years of age, can legally complete a 200 IM in less than 2:45

High School Group: 13 years or older, can complete a 100 free in less than 1:15 and has 3 legal strokes
