Meet added to our Summer Schedule

Good news, we have added a meet to the schedule the weekend of July 23-24. The meet is the Summer Grand Challenge at the Titlow Pool in Tacoma. This is an outdoor pool with a great view of the Tacoma Narrows, and a short walk through the park to the waterfront.

This meet is for those not attending the PNS Championship Meet (July 28-31), and is a no time standard long course swim meet. The main motivation here by the coaches is to give all of our swimmers a chance to get some long course racing experience in before the end of the summer.

We would like to encourage all our swimmers who have been working so hard at practice to get signed up for this meet and do some racing!

Please note the registration date of June 17^th. We apologize for the short turn around but we want to make sure we get our swimmers into the meet.

Summer Grand Challenge Meet Information

From the meet information regarding de-qualifying times:

A swimmer 11&O may not enter any individual event in which he/she has achieved the PNS Champs qualifying time (any course) since April 1, 2010, even if the swimmer does not swim that event at this summer's PNS Champs meet. There are no de-qualifying times for 10&U swimmers.
