News and Notes about the Wave Annual Banquet

Hello Families,

As you know, next Tuesday May 22 is our Wave Aquatics Team Banquet, beginning at 6:30pm at Redmond Junior High.

We will not have practice that night as all swimmers and their families are all encouraged to attend. The cost for this catered event is $10 per person.

We ask that you RSVP through the website if you have not done so already. When you do, be sure to indicate exactly how many total family members will be attending in the notes box. Please RSVP by Saturday, May 19. 

For those of you looking to earn volunteer credit:

1.      We do need help running the banquet. To that end, we have a list of jobs set up for the evening that are also opportunities for families to earn service hours. See instructions below on how to sign up for positions.

2.      Additionally, we are looking for raffle prizes at the banquet itself. If you want to donate a fun raffle prize for the banquet, be sure to bring the receipt, the cost of which will be used to offset some of your volunteer obligation.

We will post the program for the evening on the website once we have that ready. A few things to expect:

·         Great BBQ food

·         Recognition of the athletes accomplishments from this past year

·         An amazing slide show that includes pictures from this past year of the swimmers

·         A fun evening!

2.      Go to the Meets/Events page

3.      Click on the Wave Aquatics Annual Banquet event

4.      Click on the Job Signup button

5.      Click on a box under a job you want to sign-up for then the Sign-up Button with the green circle with the ‘+’
