Gabby and Ryan make PNS NACC Team

Congratulations to Gabby Dang and Ryan Pilkington on making the PNS North American Challenge Cup Team! This is a huge honor and a testament to their effort in practice over the past year.

They will be in Edmonton, Canada from July 31- August 5 as part of the PNS team. While they are there, they will be competing against teams from Mexico, Canada, California and Oregon.

PNS Athletes were selected using criteria listed below.

NACC Automatic Selection Criteria ( Automatic selection to PNS NACC Team):

1. Swimmer has achieved a Hytek power point score of 800 points or above in a single event, for the older age in their respective age groups. For example, 11 year olds will use the power point system for 12 year olds, 13 year olds will use the 14 year olds' system, 15 will use 16, etc.

2. Swimmer has achieved two 700 point swims in two individual events.

NACC Consideration Selection Criteria:

Second round selection will be based off two criteria:

1) Identifying swimmers who can score in multiple events and contribute to relays;

2) Filling events that have not yet been filled from the first round of NACC applicants.

1. Swimmer has a combined power point score of 2400 - 2800, or above in their top 4 events.

2. Swimmers events coincide with the remaining PNS NACC event lineup still needing to be filled.
