Looking for Service Hours?

Three opportunities upcoming:

Thursday September 27:

Wave Booster Board Meeting, 7:30-9:00pm at Juanita (upstairs bleachers); if you are interested in joining the booster board or finding out about it, plan to attend this meeting.

Saturday September 29:

Pacific Northwest Swimming House of Delegates Meeting, 11am to 1pm, Wave needs one 14 or older swimmer to attend the meeting. Coach Erin will provide transportation following Saturday practice to and from the meeting. The attending swimmer will also get a free meal and earn two service hours.

Become a Stroke and Turn Official:

Going through the steps to becoming a certified stroke and turn official will take care of your service hours for the year. This is also a huge help to the team. There are five steps:

1.      Attend a how to clinic (see below)

2.      Pass the online open book test

3.      Shadow a certified official for a minimum of four meet sessions at a sanctioned meet

4.      Pass Background Test

5.      Join USA Swimming as a non-athlete member
