Swim-A-Thon Donations
Hi WAVE Parents,
A great way to support the Swim-A-Thon and fulfill your volunteer obligation is to donate and/or procure prizes for the Swim-A-Thon.
Prizes are needed for everything from best costume to the largest number of sponsors. Make the Swim-A-Thon a fun-raiser that the kids will look forward to by asking a business you frequent to donate a prize for the Swim-A-Thon.
Procurement forms that will serve as a tax receipt for the donor and a record of donations procured for volunteer points can be found here:
For each donor complete the form and give a copy to the donor. Then email the form to Coach Erin. We will post prizes on the website as received, so get those forms in early!
We are in need of large and small prizes for all ages. Wave swimmers range in age from 6 – 18. Age specific prizes are great! A coupon at a local restaurant or store would be an awesome way for a local business to advertise and a nice thank you to all participants.
Suggestions for prizes:
· Movie tickets
· Theme baskets
· Video games
· Stuffed animals
· Games
· Gift cards to restaurants, fast food places, Target, I-Tunes, malls, etc.
· Experiences are also a good prize – Sky High, Cosmic Bowling, etc.
Please email forms and arrange pick up of all procured items no later than February 25th. We have placed large plastic tubs in the offices at both pools for parents to leave donations. There are procurement forms on the tubs at the pools. Donation or procurement of prizes will count towards volunteer hours at roughly one point for $20 in value. Coach Erin has contacted Sylvia’s Swimwear, so please do not ask for additional donations from them.
