Wave Swimmer’s Put on a Show at the High School State Championship Meet

The 2012-2013 boys high school season came to a close last weekend with the Boys High School State Championship Meets (2A, 3A and 4A). Wave had swimmers at all three meets posting best times and making an impact on the meet.

Grant Neil had an amazing meet winning the 50 free in 21.13 and finishing second in the 100 fly in 50.39. Both swims were All American Consideration times.

Seth Birrell, Mateusz Merchel, Maxwell Peterson, and Nick Reeves all made the top 8 at their respective meet in an individual event.

Fisher Munro, John McDonagh and Jason Sukigara all had amazing races and posted best times in their individual events.

Kyle Grichel 10^th as part of a 200 Free Relay team, 23^rd in the 100 back

John McDonagh 12^th 100 breast, 22^nd as part of a 400 Free Relay team

Mateusz Merchel 5^th as part of a 200 Medley Relay team, 10^th 200 IM, 6^th 100 back, 12^th as part of a 400 Free Relay team

Fisher Munro 20^th 200 IM, 21^st 500 free, 11^th as part of a 200 Free Relay team

Grant Neil 1^st 50 free and an All American Consideration time, 2^nd 100 fly and an All American Consideration time, 5^th as part of a 200 Free Relay team, 5^th as part of a 400 Free Relay team

Maxwell Peterson 6^th in the 50 free, 10^th as part of a 200 Free Relay team

Nick Reeves 7^th as part of a 200 Medley Relay team, 21^st in the 100 free, 7^th in the 100 breast, 12^th as part of a 400 free relay team
