Highlights by practice group...
Sr Prep
Jenna Kimborowicz and Jack Skarda kicked things off for the group with awesome swims. Jack was a few seconds shy of the Champs cut in his first time racing the event, while Jenna swam a best time and A Time, getting stronger as the event progressed. Lola Reynolds followed that up with a strong effort, picking up a BB Time during her first attempt at the event. It was great to see Lola make some in race adjustments to make sure she was carrying speed into her turns as the event became more challenging. Both Anouk Balog and Jaiden Sreenivasan raced the mile for the first time as well, both of them following solid race plans and pacing well on their way to new Champs cuts!
Senior Elite
Steffen Teutsch: Teutsch had a great in-season mile going right off his best time, and showing a lot of fight to race home the last 150 for second in the meet overall.
Isabella Bono: Bones had a great in-season (with HS Swimming going on) mile. She paced well and was very consistent throughout her swim.
Kyler Brumfield: Kyler dropped a full minute and twenty seconds in her mile. And broke 20 minutes for the first time.
Freddy Larsen: Fred dropped a full minute and one second, going under 18minutes for the first time.
Aidan Clarke: Aidan swam in his first mile ever and dominated with some consistent pacing and a great finish. He also knocked his time out of the park going just over 18 minutes.
Great Job to ALL the SR Elite swimmers that swam in the mile.
