HS KingCo Recap

Last weekend kicked off the Girls HS Swimming Champs Season with the King County Meet (KingCo).  We had a number of athletes participate in the meet.  Below is a quick recap of our swimmers why swam.  Next up is Districts with a last chance to qualify for State.  Good Luck Girls and Congrats to those that wrapped up a great HS Swim Season.

 

Senior Group Swimmers:

Inglemoor HS

Jewel Hau dropped almost 2 seconds in the 100 Fly to qualify for finals and placed 23rd in the 100 Back.

Grace Liu swam 2 lifetime bests on both 100 Fly and 100 Breast making finals on both events.

Ann Huynh set a new personal best dropping half second in the 100 Free.

 

 

Juanita HS

Maya Sawicka swam 2 lifetime bests on both 50 and 100 Free going 1:00 in the 100 Free for the first time. 

Abagail Bisset demonstrated great versatility swimmng the shortest and the longest Freestyle events in the meet.

 

Redmond HS

Anna Nguyen swam a lifetime best in the 100 Breast to qualify for finals. She also swam a personal best in the 200 IM.

Priyanka Kulkarni placed 10th in the 100 Breast and set a new personal best in the 200 IM.

Ella Reedy qualified for finals in the 100 Back to set a personal best one more time. She also went a lifetime best in the 100 Fly.

Yana Nanda dropped almost 4 seconds in the 200 IM and went a personal best time in the 100 Back

 

Woodinville HS

Abbie Mosset qualified for finals in  the 500 Free and placed 21st. She also swam the 100 Back right at her time.

 

Senior Epic Group Swimmers:

Isabella Bono (Redmond): Picked up her state cut in the 500 Free and made finals (finishing 4th place overall).  She also finalled in the 200 IM finishing in 15th place.

Ella Marzec (Inglemoor): Ella made finals in her 100 Back (finishing in 8th Place) and also swam the 50 Free in Prelims.

Andrea Wu (Redmond): Andrea made finals in the 50 Free (finishing in 6th Place) and the 100 Free (where she finished in 7th place). 

 

Congrats to ALL the senior swimmers qualified for Districts: Isabella Bono, Ella Marzec, Andrea Wu, Jewel Hau, Grace Liu, Maya Sawicka, Anna Nguyen, Priyanka Kulkarni, Ella Reedy, Yana Nanda, and Abbie Mosset.  Good Luck today and tomorrow at the District Meet.
