State Champs - High School Boys

Senior Epic

Congrats to all boys on our team for the great High School season this year!. Let's keep up the good work and finish our Champs Season strong! Go WAVE!!!

Fredrik Larsen (Lake Washington) swam the 100 Back, 200 IM, 200 Free Relay, and the 400 Free Relay. Fredrik wrapped up the HS Swim going his fastest 100 Back of the season and finishing in 3rd place at State! He had another solid 200 IM and won the B final by going only a second off his personal best achieved this season. He was also part of the 200 Free Relay that broke the school record!

Tyler Kong (Lake Washington) swam the 100 Breast and 200 Medley Relay. Tyler has been swimming faster and faster during the season and--for the third weekend in a row--he went a best time in the 100 Breast! Moreover, he got his first ever Sectionals cut and will be joining the Epic crew in Phoenix next month! Way to go, Tyler!

Jaiden Sreenivasan (Redmond) swam the 500 Free and 400 Free Relay. Jaiden learned a tough lesson last weekend when he was disqualified in the 500 Free prelims after passing the 15 yards mark on the first leg of his race. The positive side of it was his strong race, only 3 seconds off his best time, which would have qualified him to swim finals. It was a hard lesson that will teach him more about the sport and himself. Still, he came back for finals to help Redmond's 400 Free Relay place 7th, swimming right at his best time.

Noah Sattari (Redmond) swam the 200 Medley Relay. Noah was pumped and excited the whole week to swim his favorite relay during the season. With another solid and strong swim, he and his teammates managed to qualify the relay for finals and finished the race in 10th place.

Suhas Kannam (Redmond) swam the 400 Free Relay. Suhas posted strong swims in both prelims and finals going right at his best times in the 100 Free leg. Along with Jaiden, he helped their school to finish in 7th place at State.

Alex Popov (Woodinville) swam the 200 Free Relay. Alex led off the relay and swam his fastest ever 50 Free going under 24 seconds for the first time. His relay finished in 16th place.

Wave on 3!!
