WAVE WINS 40th ANNUAL FIRECRACKER CLASSIC!!

We had a wild weekend full of fast swimming, great racing, and insane storms. The swimmers who attended the Firecracker Classic this past weekend all put forth their best efforts at the meet with several swimmers making finals, achieving best times, and qualifing for championship meets next month. We even had one swimmer qualify for Senior Zones for the first time in the final race of the whole weekend!

41 teams from several states participated, including Montana, Arizona, California, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

We were neck-and-neck with Bozeman (Montana), the defending champs, the entire meet. Bozeman went all in to win again, but our Boys took them down 1207.5 to 1070 while their Girls edged us 1306 to 1184.5. For the team score, we came out on top 2392 to 2376! That's like scoring a touchdown on the final play of the Super Bowl!
