The days were long, the temperatures were high, the pool was Colman, the swimming was fast at the oldest meet in the state. Wave athletes shone each day with many outstanding swims!

Senior 1
The Senior 1 group sent 14 swimmers to the Senior Seattle Open. As a whole the group performed incredibly well, we saw several best times, several new motivational times achieved, and a new Zones cut. Looking forward to what this group can do as they take on their taper meet.
- Anouk Balog was really feeling the training she has been putting in but that didn’t stop her from stepping up. She was right on her best times in all her races. Her best swim came in the 400 Free where she only added a little and swam a very clean even split race, looking forward to breaking the 5:00 barrier this weekend at Zones.

- Spandana Kannam continued to show improvement in breast and sprint events. It was super fun to see her leave it all in the pool at what will most likely be her last meet as a Wave swimmer. Her best swim came in the 50 Fly where she finished her career in the event with a monster 4-second drop.
- Kyle Li has been working toward being a distance freestyle swimmer. This meet he braved the 1500 for the first time. He turned in a very consistent race achieving a BB time his first time ever swimming the event.

- Sonny Nguyen has been on a bit of a hot streak seeing huge drops at all of his past meets. This meet would be no different as he went a perfect 5/5 on best times. His biggest drop of 42 seconds came in the 400 Free.
- Aadhav Saravanan had a great meet seeing huge drops in four of his races. His most exciting race came at the end of the entire meet where he put it all on the line in the 1500 and swam an absolutely phenomenal race holding pace the entire way.
- Andy Wang was still recovering from an illness but he still managed to put up some awesome swims. He dropped time in 6 of his 7 races. His most exciting race came in the 100 Free where he dropped 2 seconds going 1:00; he was so close to breaking that barrier and is guaranteed to get it the next time out.
Senior Epic
