WAVE Swimmers Selected to Pacific Northwest Age Group Zones Team

There were six WAVE swimmers, five qualifiers and one alternate, selected to represent Pacific Northwest Swimming at the Age Group Zones meet in August. Selection to this team is a very big deal as this is the highest level of Age Group swimming. Swimmers first have to qualify for the meet then they must submit an application to be selected to the team. The selection process is highly competitive as only 10 boys and girls in the 10&Under, 12 boys and girls in the 11-12 age group, and 12 boys and girls in the 13-14 age group are selected. Being chosen for this is an incredible honor and WAVE is very proud of our swimmers. We are excited to see our swimmers represent our team and Pacific Northwest Swimming as they go up against the toughest competition from the western USA. GO WAVE!!!
