Girls High School Championships Meet Recaps

Each fall, Wave girls proudly suit up for their respective high school teams, competing through a season that builds toward three increasingly competitive championship meets: KingCo, Districts, and State. The qualifying standards get faster at each stage, and Wave’s athletes rose to the challenge in spectacular fashion. Many earned berths to the State meet, numerous swimmers posted impressive best times, and one delivered a standout performance: achieving a Futures qualifying time! It was an incredible way to kick off the school year, and we couldn’t be prouder of how hard our athletes raced and represented Wave!

Senior 1

Senior 1 had 11 girls compete for their high school swim teams. The girls did a fantastic job competing hard all season and showing up when it counted at the postseason meets. The girls in the group had several best times over the course of the three meets, many of them swimming the same races back-to-back-to-back and dropping each time. They were also valuable members of their school’s relay teams. Each swimmers was a great contribution to the their team’s success. I was excited to see the results come in and see them crushing their swims and competing so well. I am looking forward to riding that wave of success into our December Champs meets.
