The DOOR COUNTY YMCA SWIM TEAM is committed to outstanding character and skill development. We train at 2 pools with one goal- Individual success through team success.  Our team focus and motto is 100%IN - 1.TEAM, 2.TEAMMATE, 3.SELF.  

Our highly trained coaching professionals guide each swimmers career, from age-group meets up to Olympic level competition. All professionals are qualified through ASCA Level 3.We focus on training the whole swimmer, including character development, mental approach to training and racing, nutritional education, exceptional dryland training, and a clear emphasis on technical proficiency. Through this focus, we have several State qualifiers and champions, National Meet qualifiers and champions, and Olympic trial qualifiers. Emphasis on sportsmanship, team unity, and core values has resulted in exceptional team growth and success. We take pride in our challenging practice sessions combined with experienced, positive coaching.
