Team Pics information from BJ - Please review carefully...

Hi Swim Families,

 

Thank you for considering individual and group OSHY pictures.  I'll try to address a few questions that often come up:

 

ORDER FORMS AND ENVELOPES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE END OF PRACTICE THIS WEEK WEDNESDAY (and still available TH, Fri, Sat) 

 

Can we get family pictures of our swimmers together?  

Yes.  The form isn't formatted in a way that makes it obvious, but if you write me a note of what you want it's no problem at all.  Just a family pose, yep.  Individual and family, yep.

 

If I don't plan on ordering pictures, should my swimmer still come to the group/team pictures?

YES!  We'd like everyone that swam this year to be part of the group/team pictures.

 

What should my swimmer wear?

A navy blue race suit.  Some of the new swimmers may not have a race suit, yet, but do your best.  It will help the group/team picture come out better.  It does not need to have the OSHY logo.

 

What is the difference between team photo and group photo?

Team photo is the whole team with all the swimmers.

Group is Dolphin 1, 2, Senior 1, 2, 3

 

What is a memory mate? Bag Tag? etc

We will have a table out early on Sunday with most items to look at, or you can email me prior and I will send a photo example.

 

If I have more than one swimmer can I send one form?

You can send the money in one envelope, but please use one form per swimmer so we can keep track of the order the pictures are taken and we get names spelled right on any personalized items.

 

Do I have to pay in cash or check?

No.  I have Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.  If you write your credentials down (legibly, please) I can send you an 'invoice'.  

 

Do you need my email address?

Yes, please.  And/or phone number.  If questions come up I'd like to be able to reach out to you.  I'm not savvy enough to distribute spam, so don't worry about that.  It's not going into a database.

 

How long does it take to get the pictures back?

Please allow 3 weeks.  I'll do my best to improve on that.

 

How will I get the pictures back?

They will be returned to the pool and distributed after practice.  Every family will have an envelope with all of their swimmers pictures in it, not individually per swimmer.  The last name will be written on the envelope and will be in a box on deck.  Kate will send an email to everyone when they are ready to pick up.

 

If I change my mind the day of can I still my swimmer still get pictures?

Yes, they won't be turned away if they don't make the sign-up.  It does help us with an idea of timeline if you do sign up, though.

 

Please be prompt with payment so as to not hold up the group order.  There is a $30 minimum order from the vendor I use, which may be added to your total if you miss the cutoff.  Assume this is Sunday, 5/4.  If you have an extenuating circumstance, please email me and we'll work something out.
