November 14th
This is your River Falls Swim News for November 14th
I want to start by apologizing that you haven’t gotten a team news in a couple of weeks. It has been the final few weeks of the Girls High School Swim and Dive season, which adds a significant amount of extra work onto my plate as we try to get them to close out and have a successful end of season. Both of the HS programs that I work with had great meets to close out their season, and I am excited to see how all of our club swimmers do this upcoming weekend at our home meet!
Great job to all of our swimmers last weekend that attended the STORM invite!
UPCOMING SWIM MEETS & EVENTS:
Saturday-Sunday November 20-21st: RFSC Autumn Dash Invite. 2 day, 4 session meet. Entries are finalized for this meet and attached to the email. We still have Volunteering spots that need to be filled, especially Sunday Afternoon! There are no additional volunteer opportunities for this fall to meet your requirements.

MISC INFORMATION:
VOLUNTEERING: Volunteer spots are open for the home swim meet on November 20-21, you can go to the Team Events tab and select on Job Sign-up for the weekend. We need a lot of volunteering support to make the weekend successful, so please go out and select the events you can help with. Each family is required to complete two blocks of volunteering, this is two events or time slots during the meet. Family, friends, swimmers, neighbors, 3rd cousins twice removed are all welcome to come and help! It’s a fun event, and a great way to see our swimmers succeed at what they are practicing. Developmental families are welcome to volunteer as well, and get an opportunity to see what swim meets are like and support the team as well. We need the most support on Sunday Afternoon with timing. This is an easy and fun job that anyone can do, and we will teach you everything you need to know!
TEAM SUIT ORDERING: Link to order/purchase your suits: https://zoneswimwear.com/collections/river-falls-swim-club
- PASSWORD FOR ORDERING: GoRiverFalls
-Email Coach Michael if you want to set up a time to try the sizing kit in the pool office to verify you get the right size. Girls suits, the thick strap version and thin strap version fit and size differently, we only have the thick strap version of the suit as part of the sizing kit. If you decide you are going to order the thin strap suit, you will want to go one size larger than the suit you try on in the sizing kit.
-Swim suit purchases are a direct sale between the families and the vendor, they will ship the suits straight to your house after purchase. If there are issues with sizing, there is nothing that RFSC can do to assist you, you must reach out directly to the vendor to work on corrections.
River Falls Swim Club Board of Directors:
An exciting volunteer opportunity: we are seeking nominations for the RFSC board! Two of our board members’ terms expire in January, and we need new parents to join our Board! If you are interested in helping shape the future of the River Falls Swim Club and be more involved in club operations, please contact current board president Melissa Anderson at [email protected] with questions or to express interest. Selection of board members occur at the RFSC Annual Meeting in January.
HAPPY SWIMMING!
Michael
