As a competitive athlete, Jessi swam locally for the Sun Prairie Piranhas and Madison Aquatic Club for a combined thirteen years. She competed on her high school swim team, where she was a two-time letter winner and WIAA State qualifier.

Amanda Bley
Assistant Coach
I grew up in Tempe, Arizona. I have been in and around the pool my whole life, but started swimming competitively at the age of 6. I then went on to swim in college for a few years at York College of Pennsylvania. I started working for the City of Tempe at the age of 16 where I was a lifeguard and taught people of all ages to swim. My last few years there I was the Head coach of the summer league team for one of the pools. I recently moved to Wisconsin after graduating with my Master's of Social Work from Arizona State University. I currently work at SSM health. I am excited to be back around the pool coaching with the Waunakee Wave.
GETTING TO KNOW BEN KNOECK
Ben began swimming the summer before his sophomore year of high school in 2018 with the Monona Outdoor Club before joining the Monona Grove High School swim team. He then went on to compete for four years at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where he swam until graduating in May 2025. After graduation, he decided to pursue a career in coaching which ultimately led me to join the Waunakee Wave coaching staff. He’s excited to get to work and help our swimmers develop their skills in the water.
